Description

Standard:
JŽS S2. 013; JŽS C2.100
CONSTRUCTION:
Low-frequency quads (NF)
Conductor: soft annealed copper wire of
0,9 mm diameter, class 1
Insulation: paper cord and paper tape
Twisting elements:
Low-frequency star quads diameter of 0,9 mm

Cable core: concentric stranded (see cross section)
Adjacent layers have the opposite direction of twist.
Core wrapping: at least one layer of four paper tapes, with an overlap. It is allowed one carbonized or metallised paper tape over the last paper tape.
Inductive protection: smooth, seamless aluminium sheath, aluminum minimum purity 99,5%.
Minimal thickness of Al sheath is such to satisfy the requirements of the reduction factor (min. 2,0 mm).

Protection from mechanical damage and corrosion:
The inner protective layer below the two steel tapes coated with a compound.
Thickness of steel tapes is 0,8 mm with max. gap of 1/3 width of the tape.
The outer protective layer above the two steel tapes coated with a compound.
Outer sheath: PE sheath, black colour
(UV protection).

APPLICATION:
Railway signal and telecommunication cables designed for laying along a railway line electrified single-phase system 25 kV, 50 Hz and DC direct current system 3000 V.
