Conductor: soft annealed copper wire diameter of 0,4 mm; 0,6 mm and 0,8 mm, class 1 (EN 60228)
Insulation: solid PE type (EN 50290-2-23)
Twisting elements: 4 cores to star-quads stranded;
5 quads to lay up; bundles to lay up
Colour code: according to VDE 0816
The insulating coverings of single cores of star quad are marked with black rings.
The cores of 5 star quads of sub unit are coutinted according to the sequence of basic colours:
Quad 1: basic colour of all cores is red
Quad 2: basic colour of all cores is green
Quad 3: basic colour of all cores is grey
Quad 4: basic colour of all cores is yellow
Quad 5: basic colour of all cores is white
Cable core: group stranded
(5 star quads are stranded in a basic group;
5 or 10 basic groups are stranded in a main group)
Filling: compound with drop point above +70C

Core wrapping: paper or other
non-hygroscopic dielectric material (polyester tape)
Laminated sheath: aluminium tape, thickness of 0,15 mm, covered on both sides with a layer of copolymer-ethylene and firmly glued with PE sheath
Outer sheath: PE sheath (EN 50290-2-24)
Sheath colour black, RAL 9005 (UV protection).
APPLICATION:
These external subscriber telephone cables are installed as telecommunication connection cable for connecting the telephone extension to the telephone exchange and as well as for industrial plants.
These subscriber connecting cables are suitable for laying in under ground, in cable ducts and cable conduits – and also for indoor laying.
The permissible temperature range:
– during installation: from -20°C to +50°C
– during operation: from -30°C to +70°C
Min. permissible bending radius:
– during operation max. 10D
– single bending without tension 5D
