Standard: SRPS N.C5.230
DIN VDE 0276-620; HD 620 S2; IEC 60502-2
Nominal voltage U0/U: 6/10 kV
Test voltage: 21 kV
CONSTRUCTION:
Conductor: multi-core annealed conductor
class 2, copper XHP 84 or aluminium
XHP 84-A according to SRPS N.C0.015,
IEC 60228.
Inner semi-conductive layer
Insulation: cross-linked polyethylene XLPE
Outer semi-conductive layer: extruded,
strongly attached to insulation, with lapped
semi-conductive tape over extruded layer
used as bedding for electric protection.
Electric protection: wrapped annealed copper
wires with contra-helical annealed copper
tape or copper tape around each core (SE).
Core: 3 cores are stranded together.
Separate sheath: extruded, non hygroscopic
layer over the core that completely fills the
space between the cores.
Armour: wrapped round zinc-plated steel
wires with or without contra-helical zincplated
steel tape (is required for the cables used in
mines).
Outer sheath: PVC compound
Sheath colour black, for use in mining red.
APPLICATION
In urban networks, industrial plants and power
plants, when the cable is exposed to severe mechanical tensile strains during laying down or use.
Permissible conductor temperature:
– max operating temperature +90°C
– in short circuit (max 5 s), max +250°C
– short-term overload in emergency operation to
+230°C
Permissible environment temperature:
at laying and handling, min +5°C
BENDING RADIUS (min.):
– 15D (D – cable diameter)
