Conductor: soft annealed copper wire diameter of
0,4 mm and 0,6 mm, class 1 (EN 60228)
Insulation: foamed polyethylene with a thin layer of solid polyethylene, foam-skin PE
(EN 50290-2-23).
Colour code: according to IEC 60708
1. pair: a-white, b-blue
2. pair: a-white, b-orange
3. pair: a-white, b-green
4. pair: a-white, b-brown
5. pair: a-white, b-gray
6. pair: a-red, b-blue
7. pair: a-red, b-orange

Twisting elements: pairs
Cable core: group (G) or concentrically stranded
Pairs are twisted together in basic group (10x2x…), basic groups are twisted together in main groups (50 or 100 pairs) and main groups are twisted together in cable core (G)
Filling: compound with drop point above +70C

Core wrapping: paper or other non-hygroscopic dielectric material
Laminated outer sheath: aluminium tape covered on both sides with a layer of copolymer-ethylene and firmly glued with PE sheath.
Outer sheath: PE sheath, type 2YM1 acc. To VDE 0207 (EN 50290-2-24).
Sheath colour black, RAL 9005 (UV protection).
APPLICATION:
In the broadband local access networks for transmission of digital signals in the range up to
30 MHz.
Cables are direct laid in the ground or in cable ducts.
The permissible temperature range for these cables is:
– at laying: from -5°C to +50°C
– before and after laying: from -30°C to +50°C
