0,9 mm and 1,4 mm diameter, class 1 (EN 60228)
Insulation: solid PE (EN 50290-2-23)

Cable core: concentric stranded
(with 2 perforated (monitoring) cores 0,5 mm in cables ≥7 quad; color of insulation: gray)
Core wrapping: paper or other
non-hygroscopic dialectric material
Inner laminated sheath: Cu tinned drain wire 0,4 mm under the aluminium tape covered on at least one side with a layer of ethylene copolymer and firmly glued with PE sheath (EN 50290-2-24), black.
Screening: one layer of round Cu wires
(0,9 mm, 1,2 mm, 1,4 mm, 1,8 mm), wrapped with polyester tape.
Armouring: max. two (s=0,5 mm or s=0,8 mm) galvanized steel tapes acc. to DIN EN 10142
Outer sheath: PE sheath (EN 50290-2-24).
Sheath colour black (UV protection).
APPLICATION:
The signal cables must be suitable for general use as underground cable in signal systems, unless the use of special cables of signaling technology (e.g. PZB cable) is prescribed, preferably for transmission of direct current at a an operating voltage ≤ 600 V and alternating current up to approx. 100 Hz during an actual operating voltage ≤ 420 Veff.
The permissible temperature range:
– during installation: from -10°C to +60°C
– during operation: from -40°C to +60°C
Min. permissible bending radius:
– during operation min. 20D
