CONSTRUCTION
Phase conductor
Conductor: compacted multi-wire aluminium
conductor class 2 according to SRPS N.C0.015.
Inner semi-conductive layer: thermo stabile material.
Insulation: XLPE compound.
Outer semi-conductive layer: semiconductive layer made from thermo stable material with sheath made from wrapped semiconductive tape in case of XHP 48/O-A type of cable or made from semi-conductive swelling tape in case of XHE 49/O-A type of cable.
Electrical protection: wrapped copper wire
with contra-helical copper tape.
Separator: polyester tape in case of XHP 48/O-A
type of cable, and waterproof insulating swelling
tape in case of XHE 49/O-A type of cable.
Sheath: PVC compound for XHP 48/O-A type
of cable; PE compound for XHE 49/O-A type of cable.
Sheath colour: black.
Supporting element
Rope: Zinc-plated steel rope, 50 mm2 nominal
cross-section, according to SRPS C.H1.061.
Minimal tensile strength: 72,11 kN, elasticity
module: 17500daN/mm2. Rope diameter: 9 mm.
Rope is covered with black polyethylene layer.
Diameter of the covering: 12 mm.
APPLICATION
Cable is used instead of overhead lines in rural networks, in areas with intensive object and traffic constructions, when the problems of safety lengths arise from limited areas. The cable is laid on the pillars of the air network. It can be laid partially in earth where that is necessary.
Permissible conductor temperature:
– max operating temperature +90°C,
– in short circuit (max 5 s), max +250°C
– short-term in emergency up to +130C
Permissible environment temperature:
– XHP 48/O-A, at laying, min -5C; at laying, for bundles, min -40C;
– XHE 49/O-A, at laying, min -20C; at laying, for bundles, min -50C
